Diet Plan

I've gained a total of 10 pounds since my trip to the Philippines this January. I'm definitely getting old, I can't get away with eating everything I want without going to the gym. My goal is to lose the ten pounds I've gained and to tone up. As far as my diet goes all I'm going to be excluding are sugary drinks (soda and juices). I'm not going to starve myself because I honestly love to eat, but I will try to work on portion control. I'll also try to include more fruits and vegetables to my diet. Carbs aren't going anywhere. I love bread and you need carbs for energy but I will try to substitute white bread for wheat bread when I can. I've also been consuming a lot of coffee this semester, which I put a lot of cream and sugar in. I don't know what I'll substitute coffee for because I need my caffeine in the morning so if you guys have any suggestions on a good source of caffeine other than coffee please let me know. My habit of daily chocolate consumption also needs to change, I'm a big sweet tooth and I need at least one chocolate fix for the day. Dark chocolate is healthier but I just can't stand the taste. I love me some milk chocolate. I might just reach for 1 chocolate kiss instead of 10 which is easier said than done.

Going to the gym is another battle I have to face. I've been so lazy this year and I need to change that. Since I got a car I haven't really been walking anywhere so I have no source of exercise throughout the day. When I go to the gym hopefully tomorrow my work out routine will consist of 30 minutes on the elliptical and at least 1 of the work out classes held in their studio. I will also probably do weights every other day to tone.

I always check up on my blog so I thought if I'd do a post on my "DIET PLAN" it would give me motivation to stick to it. That's all for now ladies.

Can't wait for Easter Break to come... Two more weeks until my boyfriend and I jet off to Paris, France. The Eiffel Tower is on the top of my list after that, The Lourve, Notre Dame Cathedral and a sunset river cruise on the Seine. We'll only be there for three days on account of my boyfriend's schedule but I will definitely make those three days count. I'm still trying to save my pennies. Hopefully I'll have enough to buy a little something while I'm there. As far as hotels go we're still looking. I have my eye set on one a couple of blocks from the Eiffel tower. Crosses fingers everything will work out.

The boyfriend is finally going to take me to Paris. Were hoping to go during Easter break. I am so excited to say the least. Paris has been one of the cities I've been dying to go to since I was a child. I remember playing dress up, pretending to take my luggage and yelling to my parents "I'm going to Paris". Hopefully we can go. I'm trying to save up my pennies. Crosses fingers everything will go as planned. If any of you guys have been to paris please let me know places I need to visit, restaurants and any good hotel recommedations will be very much appreciated. I hope everything pulls through...

NURSING SCHOOL RANT

Clinicals has been a pretty good experience this semester until I finally met my last clinical instructor. She's very smart and expects the best from her students but I can't help but feel intimidated by her. She has that look to her that screams I WILL FAIL YOU. It doesn't help that she's the NU 201 nursing coordinator -_- I just think it was unfair for our group to be tossed around for half of the semester with very nice instructors and then finally be dumped with a drill sergeant. It was such a tease the previous instructors we had were very smart as well but was a lot more friendly with their approach to us. The good thing is half the semester is over and I guess I just have to keep that in mind and bear with it. Wish me luck guys.

This bipolar weather is getting on my last nerve. It snowed last week. SPRING where are you?? Please come find new york city so I can put away my winter coats and unpack all my cute spring wear. Thanks in advance :)

So i thought i'd start posting everyday to keep track on what I've done throughout the year. Lets see how long this lasts shall we. Today was pretty chill. I went to a pre Valentines lunch at one of my favorite restuarants Olive Garden. I ordered stuffed mushrooms and the cheesy smoked mozzarella fonduta for an appetizer. Then the seafood alfredo for my entree which is always delishh. I left the restaurant feeling so bloated. We went grocery shopping at Walmart for a bit then headed home. I just finished my two SOAP notes that are due tomorrow and now I'm contemplating on whether or not I should go to a birthday party in Jersey. Hopefully my future posts won't be as dry as this one. And I will definitely try to add pictures on each post for people who only look at pictures when they look at blogs. Alright that's all.

Hey guys! Just wanted to give a quick up date on what's going on with me. For some odd reason I always get sick after going to the Philippines. For this trip I thought I would actually trick my body with copious amounts of tea, vitamin C and bonine, but without a doubt I got sick -_- it's inevitable i guess. It's definitely not going to stop me from going back, I absolutely love traveling to the Philippines. This trip there I didn't contain myself when it came to food. I let myself go and ate everything and anything I wanted. During my recent trip to mydoctor she informed me I had gained weight. It was definitely well worth it. I can always make use of my gym membership :)

I finally got my DSLR :) My papa got me a Nikon D3100 during his trip to Macao China. I was so surprised and happy because I've been wanting one for ages now. I was also amazed at how easy it was to use, it's as simple as using a point and shoot.

School started two weeks ago. I go to the hospital on mondays and tuesdays, then I have classes on campus on wednesdays and thursdays. Fridays I'm off which is great because I actually get a 3 day weekend. This semester is definitely going to be tough but hopefully I can get through it. That's all for now guys!

Happy belated New Year...I can't believe it's already 2011. Another year has once again flown by making me realize I need to start living each day to the fullest. Next thing you know we'll be celebrating 2012. I spent the night with my family. Like every other year we watched the ball drop in times square while drinking champagne/apple cider (i still drink apple cider i hate the taste of alcohol), lighting sparklers and pulling party poppers (well the boys did, I'm terrified of those things). My number one new year's resolution is to stop procrastinating. Whether it's going to the gym or reading the chapters of my nursing text books, I definitely need to work on not leaving things to last minute.

Snowed in!

This was written last night, or should I say this morning at around 1 o' clock a.m. I was too lazy to finish the post so I thought I'd just put it up today...

Being snowed in is the perfect reason to blog. Right now I laying on my bed, while the boyfriend is sitting next to me playing Black Ops. It's pretty safe to say he'll be sleeping over tonight. The weather is crazy outside. I personally hate snow, yeah it's pretty at first but the after math is horrible. Mushy ice that's hard to walk and drive through, not my cup of tea. Speaking of tea, I drank 3 cups today. My favorite is Lipton's passion fruit green tea with a lot of honey. Great for cold winter nights like tonight. My minds going completely blank so I might just write an entry on what I got for Christmas. I wanted to do a haul video of what I got, but I'm not really in the mood to record so I might as well put it here for those of you who read my blog :)

The first present I got was from my boyfriend. He got me a Samsung 40 inch LED flat screen tv. I went with him to the store to pick it out and compared to all the other televisions it didn't look that big. Once I got home and placed it on my dresser, it looked massive. I am in no way complaining though. It's a very sleek looking tv and the quality is perfection. Whether you're watching a movie or playing a video game it's just so clear, I absolutely love it. Its like having my own personal theater in my bedroom. Pretty safe to say it was the best present I got this year. :)

On wednesday my mom, boyfriend and I went up to Woodbury premium outlets for some last minute christmas shopping. At the Coach factory outlet my mother got me some goodies that I picked out myself of course. I got this really cute bag that was on the 50 percent of rack. It's huge and has a lot of compartments, perfect for traveling. She also got me a makeup bag with a matching wristlet. I heart coach.

I also got the Ralph by Ralph Lauren perfume. It's been my staple fragrance since middle school. The scent is very fresh and clean.

Sweat pants from Victoria Secret's Pink. Super comfy great for sleeping and days when you want to dress like a bum but look cute doing so.

I got new eye glasses as well. I was really hoping to get Chanel frames but I opted for these Prada's since nothing else really caught my eye at the store. I think they're cute.

That's it for my main presents. I also got some gift sets and little nick naks, but I think I'll save those for my Christmas Haul video. It's getting late and my eyes are getting tired so I think I'll bid you all adieu and chat with you on my next entry. Stay warm lovelies.

Happy holidays to everyone!!! For those who celebrate Christmas I hope you all got everything you wished for :) I just love christmas. The tree, decorations and family gathering makes it one of my favorite holidays. Our tree this year! You guys like? It's so fun to see everyone's tree. They're just like snowflakes, unique for every family.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

I haven't updated this blog in quite a while. Like most college students I've been busy with school, but since this semester is finally over I have a lot more time to blog and what not. So what's new with me? I'm stoked I passed all my classes, my skin is finally clearing up and my boyfriend is taking me to the Philippines in January. YIPEE!!! During the semester we don't really get to do much, so its great that during my break we actually get to go somewhere and take a mini vacation.

As far as my skin goes I started breaking out in early February. When I say breaking out, I'm not referring to one or two pimples. My face was literally covered with acne. It got worse and worse until in August I finally got the courage to go to the dermatologist. Though my copay is quite high, I must say it was worth the trip. I got prescribed a couple of topical acne medications, as well as an oral antibiotic which I never took. Out of the 3 topical medications she prescribed what worked best for my skin was the ACANYA GEL (shown below).

The Acanya gel pretty much dried up my acne. I was told to put this twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. When I first started the treatment, I would put this gel all over my face at night. In the morning I would wake up and my face would be very dry, it was also flaking in some areas. So I never ended up putting this in the morning. I didn't mind the dryness because it was helping with my breakouts. After two months, give or take a couple of weeks I started to see a great improvement in my skin. Fast forward to now I only apply the Acanya gel on problem areas. I'm very happy to say that I am no longer suffering with acne. What I am suffering with is the gift acne leaves behind. I have a lot of acne scars which are still healing. But as far as Acanya gel goes for acne I rate it a 5 out of 5.

I have changed my skin care routine so I'll put that up on my next blog entry. I'll leave you guys with some eye candy of my last day of clinicals. We didn't have to wear uniforms because we weren't being assigned patients that day. We were all so happy. Tired, but happy. :)

First day of class starts on wednesday. It sucks because for the past two years I've had to go to school on my birthday and this year isn't any different

I will have class from 8-2p.m. So I thought i'd take a break from studying and make a birthday wish list since the boyfriend does read my blog hehe :)

Longchamp Le Pliage Large Tote

I already have one in black but I think it's a great bag. Its durable, waterproof and can fit tons and more. Perfect for travel, school or the gym. Since I already have one in a dark color I thought beige would be a nice counterpart.

UGG Boots Tall

Ugg boots are a staple in my winter wardrobe. Winters in New York get really cold and these are perfect to keep my feet warm. Already own them in Chestnut and Brown but since i don't own any black boots think these will suffice.

IPHONE 4

I've had my IPhone 3 for two years now and I think it's definitely time for an upgrade. Facetime, flash photography and video recording with editing seems awesome.

Ikea MALM 6 Drawer Chest

My current dresser is pretty busted. Got it at a really cheap furniture store for a 100 bucks and the quality is really crappy. Saw this one on a recent trip to Ikea and thought it'd be a perfect replacement.
That's all I can think of now still have a week before my actual birthday so we'll see what i get :) I leave you all with a picture of my boyfriend, his nephew and I at his sister's birthday luau.

This summer has been a blast to say the least. The boyfriend and I kicked it off going to the Philippines for almost a month, then Virginia to visit my family and finally headed down south to Miami/Key west for another family vacay.

Miami is beautiful. It took me less than 10 minutes to fall in love with the city. The weather is perfect, people are beautiful and the life there just seems like one big vacay! I for one love blog posts with pictures so I couldn't leave you guys hanging.

This restaurant had really cute furniture but the service was horrible. The

food and drinks were just as bad. I didn't bother to remember the name.

Headed to the beach for some R&R. South beach is gorgeous. If you want to swim with fish I recommend going to this beach when it's low tide which is usually around 8-11. Forget paying for a snorkeling boat tour, in South beach I was being chased off the water by the fish. :)

Bayside shopping center. Wasn't as impressed as I was with the Dolphin Mall which had a huge forever 2

1 and a lot of outlets stores.

We're ending the summer in Toronto Canada for a basketball tournament my boyfriend and his friends are attending. I can't wait till next summer I want to do as much if not more :) School starts in less than a week and I'm so nervous/excited at the same time. Nervous because of the difficult semester ahead but excited to get closer to that nursing degree :) I hope you all enjoyed your summer. Life is way too short. Make the best out of everyday.

I'm back! I know I've been neglecting this blog and my youtube channel but I've just been so busy. Philippines was a blast and I miss my family as well as the country itself. But I will be going back in January so I shouldn't be too upset about it. I don't know why but whenever I do travel to the Philippines I always end up getting sick. Maybe it's the lack of sleep. I'm going to be in a wedding in 3 weeks so I decided to go to Target and pick up some Crest Whitening strips. My teeth are far from yellow but they aren't exactly paper white either. Luckily when I got to Target the two most expensive types of whitening strips were on sale. I opted for the 3D White strips with Advance Seal no slip technology these ended up costing 38 USD including tax. Though they were on sale the price was still a bit too steep for my liking, then again it's a lot cheaper then getting them professionally whitened. So the box comes with a 14 day supply of the whitening treatments. Each pouch comes with an upper and lower strip.

Very simple instructions.

Up close and personal. My teeth pre whitening. I will most definitely take another teeth picture after 14 days of using this treatment. Wish me LUCK!

NEUTROGENA OIL FREE ACNE STRESS CONTROL POWER-CLEAR SCRUB

I also picked up Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne Stress Control Power Clear Scrub. I recently changed my skin care routine and am now only using Cetaphil's Gentle Cleansing Bar for sensitive and dry skin. I am pretty content with this cleaner. My face has done a complete 360 after using this soap. I have less redness, less breakouts and a much brighter complexion. The only reason I picked up Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne Scrub was because I wanted an exfoliator for my face. I exfoliate my body at least twice a week and I think it is also important to exfoliate your face as well. This scrub has pretty good reviews on MAKEUPALLEY.COM. It's still an underdog compared to St. Ive's Apricot Scrub, but from what I've read on the reviews the Neutrogena scrub is less abrasive and more gentle on your skin which was the deciding factor for me.

The creamy formula contains skin soothers, which include green tea and cucumber. It's softens the skin while the micro-beads exfoliate.
It also contains 2% salicylic acid which is an acne treatment. This scrub claims to treat acne even before it emerges. Like most new products I will be using my chin as the guinea pig for a couple of days. I like to test products this way so that if I don't get a good reaction at least it won't be all over my face. So time will tell. As always I will do a proper review after I am finished with the tube. Till next time.

APRIL SHOWERS...

Brings MAY flowers. The weather in New York has been pretty bi polar during the last couple of days. Mother earth teases me with a gorgeous sunny day on monday and by tuesday I'm back to wearing my Ugg boots. I just can't wait till the weather is a good and stable 70 degrees. :)

So I bought my first OPI nail polish in "Chapel of Love". Thoughts?! I'm very impressed. The color is very vibrant it's a bright coral/pink with very subtle glitter. The formula is really nice and lasted a pretty long time without chipping. The only downfall is the price. I got this at target for 10 USD which is the most I have ever paid for a nail polish. But I really do like the formula so this will not be my last OPI nail polish purchase.

Eyes need spf too?

I finally went to Clarins and got myself their Sunscreen Wrinkle Control Eye High Protection.

On the third picture I blended the sunscreen. You can see on the right side of my hand that it does leave somewhat of a white cast. But I am hoping this will help in covering and lightening the appearance of my dark circles.

INITIAL REVIEW:

CONS: The texture definitely feels more like a sunscreen than an eye cream which was kind of a bummer. It also smells like a sunscreen which I am not too thrilled about either.

PROS: I like the packaging since it's in a tube rather than a jar

which is a lot more sanitary. I also put some on my under eyes and lids and I have not gotten any reactions just a little bit of tingling but nothing bad enough for me to run to the sink and rinse this stuff off so, so far so good.

I will do a proper review once I finished the tube.

CLINIQUE BONUS AT MACYS!!!

Clinique is having another GWP at Macys so you know I had to run over there and pick something up. I ended up getting SUPERDEFENSE SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer which I use as my morning moisturizer. I like that it has a good amount of SPF and also defends my skin from aging. This leaves my skin feeling super soft and acts as a good primer for my everyday minerals foundation.

Gift with purchase wasn't something to go too crazy over. Just the usuals and two cute cosmetics bags.

One of my good friends is selling really cute hair accessories on her blog. If you guys are interested definitely check them out. They're really good quality and pretty inexpensive.

pulling TEETH

I got two wisdom teeth extracted this morning and as a result I'm in bed relaxing so I thought I'd update the blog. I've been putting off this procedure for almost a year now and after having it done I feel so silly. It literally took the oral surgeon 1 minute to remove both of my upper wisdom teeth. I thought I'd be in excruciating pain but honestly i don't feel any pain at all. Maybe it's the vicodin kicking in but hopefully it's just because I have a high tolerance for pain. If so this will definitely help me in the far future when I have to deliver a baby. :D So if you are going to get your wisdom teeth removed don't let people's horror stories scare you it honestly isn't that bad. Just remember to apply an ice pack to prevent swelling and only eat soft cold food (it's a great excuse to eat ice cream for dinner).

EDIT: I started this blog post yesterday but fell asleep while working on my secon

d paragraph so I thought I'd finish it today. Post op second day my gums do not hurt at all, the bleeding completely stopped and no swelling. Well enough of the teeth talk. I've been eyeing some skin care products that i've been contemplating on purchasing but wanted to share with you guys. Incase you guys do use these products or have used them please let me know what you think about them I've heard rave review on makeupalley.com and other various sites.

I'm currently obsessed with eye creams probably because I've had the worst raccoon eyes since I was old enough to care about my looks (real age probably 15). I'm currently using Lancome's

HIGH RÉSOLUTION EYE COLLASER-5X™ which I will eventually do a review on once I finish the bottle. Why am I on the search for a new eye cream you may ask? Well it's because ever since going to the the bahamas I have been religiously putting sunscreen on my face and body completely ignoring the fact that my under eyes will probably also benefit from a little spf. So the two runner ups are CLARINS Sun Wrinkle Control Eye Contour Care SPF 30 and SHISEIDO's Sun Protection Eye Cream 32 PA+++.

I'm still on the fence on which one I am going to get. Both have great reviews but I am leaning more towards Clarins because it is a tad bit cheaper. I'll let you guys know which one I end up purchasing as for now I'm off to take a nap. So glad spring is finally here. :)

I cannot believe it's been a month since my last post. Time is literally flying by and I hate it. This sunday an hour was stolen from us making the day seem even shorter. SIGH! Well enough of the melodramatics. Here is a picture of my boyfriend's family and I before the Pacquiou fight which might I say was pretty boring. Mayweather needs to grow some cajones and step up to the plate. Now that'd be a fight worth paying 50 bucks.

As far as yt goes I haven't really had the motivation to do a haul video so I thought I'd just do another blog post on some of my recent fashion purchases.

Gray dress from H&M. I'm a sucker for the tiered layered look so I couldn't help but pick this up. Gray is one of my favorite colors to wear. I'm pretty vanilla and boring when it comes to colors but hey that's just me. I really like the fabric of this dress it's very light and airy which will allow me to wear it during the spring/summer. I have a similar dress from FOREVER21 that's black and a bit heavier in material. But I heart both dresses equally. :)

Cute floral sandals from NEW YORK and COMPANY. The roses really decorate your feet. These look great on.

Yup I caught on with the nautical craze. Picked this up at NEW YORK and COMPANY as well. I really like the embellished shoulders. It isn't too over the top but it definitely stands out from the rest of my striped shirts. I'm planning on wearing this with black skinny jeans/tights and gold ballet flats.

Floral ring from FOREVER21. I love floral accessories and I absolutely love the fact that FOREVER21 sells them for dirt cheap. I'm still in that floral craze and with spring coming up this will look perfect on my finger with all my spring dresses. It kind of reminds me of a piece of white chocolate. Mmmmm.

Last but not least my new cowboy boots. This is probably my favorite purchase hands down. I've been looking for a good pair of boots for a while now and I am glad to say I've finally found them. I got them at SPRING, they have a website incase you guys are interested. (http://www.myspringshoes.com) These are the tall Farrel casual boots. I like how they don't look too authentic, they're a more tone downed version of cowboy boots. I've worn these numerous times already. I'm not much of a heel girl but these are actually super comfy my toes haven't complained yet. They also look great with jeans, leggings, skirts and even dresses.

I'm trying to save up for a trip to Paris for my 7th year anniversary with my boyfriend this June but I can never pass up a good GWP. - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion is my HG moisturizer. I've been using this since High School and I absolutely love it.

- City Stick Foundation in Vanilla Stick is a great on the spot concealer. Dabbing a bit of this and setting it with powder equals flawless skin. I'm not trying to brag but I always get compliments on my skin.

- Take the Day Off Makeup Remover a relatively new favorite but it deserves it's own little review. This is a great eye make up remover that doesn't burn or dry out my eye lids.

The Almond Blossom blush is a really pretty golden copper color. This will definitely make a great candidate for a bronzer this summer.

Lipsticks in "All Done Up" and "The New Pink" which honestly look strikingly similar but they are different formulas. "The New Pink" is a sheen and has shimmer while "All Done Up" is a matte.

Long time no post. I've been shopping on and off throughout this month and thought I'd share my haul with those who follow this blog. I will eventually do a haul video featuring these items but for those reading this right now feel special because you guys get a sneak peak. My closet has reached its capacity so I'm trying not to shop too much anymore but whenever I see a sale sign I just can't help but look around. So the following were all discounted, on sale or really cheap. What an excuse huh? :)

Quick tip. Unless you really need and cannot live without a certain piece from Abercrombie, do not buy it full price because it will eventually go on sale.

I have been looking for a pair of casual boots suitable for everyday use but I didn't want to invest in anything too expensive so I settled with these 20 USD vintage looking boots. I think these will look really cute with dresses, jeans, skirts and shorts. I just love them and the fact that they were so cheap.

I think Express clothing is way over priced but I've come to find that there are some decent pieces in the clearance bins. I got these two ruffle shirts for 9.99 USD they were originally 39.99 USD.

Last fashion piece is this cute high waisted skirt from Target. I still love floral print and I can't wait till the weather in NYC gets nice enough to wear this out. I think this will look really cute with my new boots. This wasn't on sale but the price was pretty decent for the quality. 20 USD :)

So I am currently in Virginia with absolutely nothing to do. I've browsed online, ate a couple of christmas cookies, caught up on my youtube and blog channels and now it's 7:23 and I have nothing to do thanks to this blizzard. I like snow don't get me wrong, but snow to the point where it's literally keeping me a prisoner in my own home isn't fun. Since I do have all this time on my hands I thought I'd be semi productive and do a blog entry while watching "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" one of my favorite chick flicks.

CHRISTMAS WISH LIST!

Abercrombie Rebecca Vintage Jacket $200 I'm in dire need of a new warm

winter jacket and when I saw this one it was love at first sight. I feel warm just looking at it. Hope Santa aka the boyfriend nestles it under the tree before Christmas Eve :)

Other than a passing grade on my nursing final I don't necessarily need anything else for Christmas so the following items are just the things I want. Some are tangible while the rest are just fun to dream about.

PARIS Growing up as an only child I'd always have to find ways to entertain myself. One of the things I used to play was going to Paris. I would pack my little luggage, pretend passport and tiny barrette and say to my mother "I'm going to Paris". A trip to Paris would be an absolute dream. Maybe someday I can make it a reality.

CHANEL Large Flap Bag. I honestly don't know how much this bag costs but I definitely know I can't afford it. It's so chic and will never go out of style. Hopefully someday when I'm a nurse i'll be able to buy this for myself.

Guess Bow Earring Trio Set $30 After losing my black bow earring studs I got a Forever21 for less than 4 bucks I've been on the prowl for a replacement. These aren't quite the same but I still think they are still pretty cute and classy.

With the hot weather that comes with summer I like my skin to breathe so I definitely stay away from heavy thick foundations. I like to keep it really simple, concealer and blush to be exact.

I thought I'd finally join the bandwagon and do a entry on some of my favorites this summer. I honestly love these products and highly recommend them to you ladies.

JULY FAVORITES:

1. Clinique’s super defense SPF 25 age defense moisturizer: What's so awesome about this little tub of love? It states on the jar -- "Skin’s most complete defense against visible signs of aging in a daily moisturizer. Arms skin to fight visible effects of emotional stress – recognized to damage skin, like sun or pollution. Helps neutralize UVA and UVB. Keeps skin looking better, longer." This moisturizer like most of Clinique’s products is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free. Who doesn't want to look 10 years younger? I know I do, that's why I rather invest in skin care products than makeup. It better to prevent than to fix.

2. Sally Hansen’s hard as nails Xtreme wear: Painted nails are a fun way to express yourself. So why do I recommend her nail polish? Its dirt cheap (2.99 to be exact), has a good formula (last pretty long) and comes is so many fun colors. My favorite this month would have to be Fuchsia Power it a fun bright pink great for summer and goes well with a lot of my dresses. For the price I’m definitely considering purchasing all of the colors. It's so true to color, what you see in the bottle is what you get.

3. Everyday minerals finishing dust: For those ladies suffering from oily skin during the summer I feel your pain. But you guys are in luck everyday minerals finishing dust is a wonderful setting powder/ blotting powder. I have the ultimate oily T-zone and during the summer this is a definite staple in my routine. As I stated in the beginning of this entry I only use concealer and this does a great job of setting my makeup and keeping my oily T-zone at bay. I love MAC but their face products seem to disagree with my skin so if you guys break out from their face products give everyday minerals a try. They have a wide variety of face products to choose from, it doesn’t contain TALC and it’s CHEAP!

It feels so good to be home. I had a blast in the Philippines. Did a lot of shopping, beaching and eating (i gained a few)! I also had a chance to go to the skin food store which was one of the things on my to do list. So i purchased the Mushroom multi care BB Cream with SPF 20, Salmon Brightening Eye Cream and the Pumpkin Eye Cream. I'll do reviews once I get a chance to use these products, I can't wait to try the BB cream.

That's right ladies, I have to save up for this up coming trip to the philippines in the end of may. I'm bringing one of my bestfriends with me. I've known her since third grade, long time huh? I can honestly say she'll be one of my bridesmaid's if ever that day comes. So the last trip I took to the philippines was on January 2009 and to be completely honest we didn't really get to do much of anything during those two weeks. The trip mainly consisted of family reunions and meeting up with old friends (bf's grade school buddies). This time were definitely planning ahead, I want to show my bestie a good time when we're there cause ladies you know tickets to the philippines aint cheap. Especially for us girls living on the east coast. I get so giddy just thinking about going back home. It's so different and wonderful at the same time. So places we are definitely going to hit up is the plantation bay resort in cebu, hidden valley hot springs in laguna, villa escudero, manila and lipa city where my father is currently living. If you guys have any suggestions on places to go/hot spots that tourist can't miss please let me know.

On another note, I signed up with Lucille Roberts gym. I really want to tone up for the summer, plus I have high cholesterol. I told you I like to eat, it comes with being filipino!!! Going to the gym has definitely been a positive experience. There are so many different classes and the ones I've went to were so much fun (ie. dancing aerobics, yoga and the triple fat burner lol). I also like the fact that it's only for women. There's really no need to waste your time on trying to look cute cause all you're going to be surrounded by are excercise equitment and other ladies trying to get fit. So if any of you are interested in signing up for a gym I suggest Lucille Roberts. Did I mention there's no contract?!

EAST VS. WEST. Like most filipino's I'll be huddling around a tv tonight watching the fight and supporting our national champ. Go PACMAN!

I went to the Leesburg outlet in VA last week and was totally psyched when I saw a huge sign hanging on the front window of the JUICY COUTURE store. It stated 30% off all items! Without an inch of hesitation I dragged my poor hunny with me and in no time we were surrounded by beautiful and juicy things. Upon entering the store our eyes meet, it was the Day Dreamer Tote that I've been lemming over for the past couple of months. I thought I was over Juicy bags but when I calculated the price in my head with the extra 30% off, there was no way I was leaving without the tote and so here we are.

FASHION FORWARD. As promised on my yt video, here are some pictures of the dress. I absolutely love it! Its floral, frilly and everything girly. If you're interested I suggest heading to forever21 or just ordering it online. Happy hunting!

FOOD FOR TOUGHT. Panera Bread to me is the Starbucks of sandwich spots. Move over subway I've found a new love that satisfies my craving for bread and butter. :) I've had this meal for four days straight. The delicious tuna sandwich, the warm comforting taste of the cheddar and broccoli soup, the scrumptious baguette, I'm salivating just thinking about it. If you love food and haven't tried Panera Bread I suggest locate your nearest cafe and order yourself the you pick 2.

HAULY HAUL

Been gone for a while, I have no excuse except for the fact that my ass was too damn lazy to post anything. So I got a hair cut if you didn't know or don't watch my youtube vids. Its a LOB aka a long bob. Other than that I've been spending a lot of time with the women in my family which I'm loving and want to do more of. By the way this is my mother next to me not my ate (big sister) haha.

Ok onto the makeup. Ladies it's that time of the month again, and I'm not talking about aunt flow. Clinique GWP has arrived once again, and this time they are being given out at your local MACY'S Clinique counter. I've been using my free sample of the super defense SPF 25 lotion for the past two weeks and I love it. Moisturizes my face perfectly and gives me the SPF I need without leaving me with a white cast like my super city block SPF 25 did. So when the GWP came rolling around I had to get me the full size. It retails for 42.5 USD which isn't too bad because I know this baby will last me a while. So I definitely recommend at least trying the sample.

Can't wait to try this moisturizer. I love anti aging products, I hate wrinkles.

Lastly my juicy couture manicure set. It was on sale for 25, originally 54. Total steal and great for traveling :D

So I finally joined the bandwagon and purchased my first china glaze nail polish in innocence. It's a baby pink almost sheer pale color that I'm absolutely in love with. It's definitely a perfect color for people who want a natural French manicure. Along with the China Glaze polish in innocence I purchased Seche Clear as a base coat and Seche Vite as a top coat. These two products made the drying process a lot quicker, which is great for me because I'm not a very patient person and I always end up messing up my nails during the first couple of hours. So it's pretty safe to say that I'm very satisfied with my purchases at sally's beauty supply and I will most definitely be purchasing a lot more China Glaze nail lacquers. Got any color suggestions?

Since bloomingdales is having a GWP at the Clinique counter I thought I'd pick up my favorite foundation since I'm sorta running out. Sadly to my suprise they didn't have my color in vanilla stick in stock so I opted for the honey stick which they didn't have in stock either boo hoo! Sorry no pictures of the date I forgot to bring the camera ugh! Don't you hate when that happens. Anyway we ate at my favorite restaurant Cabana and then played a few rounds of pool. We were suppose to watch Slum Dog Millionaire but we stayed in Cabana a little longer than expected so we ended up skipping the movie. At the end of the day I couldn't help but take a few pictures with my roses (excuse the wonky hair and no makeup), Valentine's day just isn't complete without a fresh bouquet of roses. :)

On another note I've had chicken with broccoli for dinner for the past three nights, it tastes so good. Does anybody have the recipe? I just love this dish.

New York-London-Hong Kong-Philippines

Greetings from Hong Kong!

Since I have some time on my hands I thought I'd give those of you who actually read my blog a little update on my life as of now. I've been about 47 thousand feet above ground for most of the week, my boyfriend and I left New York on the 2nd and got on a plane to London. We stayed there for 2 days saw the sites (i.e. london eye, london bridge and the notorious big ben) and then hopped on another flight to Hong Kong. As of now I'm in Hong Kong and I gotta say I think I like it in Hong Kong a lot better than London. Don't get me wrong I love the british accent and the UK is a very beautiful place but in HK it's a lot warmer, cheaper, I don't feel like a minority here even though I'm not chinese and the shopping is awesome. Any-who in a couple of days my boyfriend and I are off to the philippines. He says i'll like it there a whole lot better, I haven't been there in years and I know it's extremely hot there so hopefully I'll adjust. I guess it's pretty safe to say that the new year is starting off great for me. It might sound a little cheesy but I'm trying to live my life to the fullest and I hope you guys do the same and make the best out of your year. I'm pretty jet lagged so i'll update later with pictures.

Hi guys, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and got everything you desired for christmas. I was lucky enough to get the main thing I've been wanting...

Here's a picture of both my babies. LOL. Being the neat freak that I am I had to get a cover to protect my new baby. Purple and yellow are my favorite colors, luckily they had a purple satin case in stock.

I also got this pretty guess watch.

These are pretty much the only things worth showing. Along with these two items I got some money and gift cards, which I think is a perfect gift all in all. JOLLIBEE in the EAST COAST!!!! YEAhyuh! My boyfriend and I were screaming hysterically when we drove pass the new jollibee. They're opening in late december. I love, love, love to eat and can't wait to try the entire menu!

That's my babe cheesin! Don't mind the water droplets I was in the car with the window closed because it was snowing.

FINALS are over. I still can't breath easy, gotta wait for the results. Hopefully I aced em. Anyways, I took this pic in the car before my anatomy final. I'm wearing clinique's city stick foundation in vanilla stick and everyday minerals blush in apple. I'm really loving the apple blush by everyday minerals, it gives me a very nice natural glow without the breakouts.

Is it just me or do all girls pack early and try and fit their entire closets in the suitcases that they bring. I'm going to the philippines in a couple of weeks and I find myself trying to stuff as much as I can in these two suitcases. We're going to be traveling a lot so I have to bring as little as I can, which always tends to be a problem for me for I like to be prepared for any situation/event. This reminds me of a conversation my boyfriend and I had once. He noticed that the older you are, the larger your purse is. If you notice most of the time it's true. The older you get the more prepared you want to be for different situations, hense all the crap women carry (myself included).

Other than that i'm going to have a lot of time on my hands during the upcoming weeks so I'll try and do all the requests you guys have been asking for. Alright guys Happy Holidays!

Christmas is my favorite holiday, there’s no doubt about it. All the bright lights and Christmas decorations lit on everyone’s front yard, snuggling up with your loved ones while drinking hot chocolate and admiring the hard work you put into that 8ft Christmas tree, families getting together for Christmas Eve dinner, the smell of fresh baked cookies coming out of the oven, opening presents. Ah they’re just nothing like the holidays.

They are just a really great fit on me I absolutely love them. each year they come out with 2 different kind of washes for super skinny jeans at Abercrombie and I find myself actually collecting all of them, sad but once you find a pair of jeans that fit you just the way you like it you can't help but get all the different washes.

I've always wanted a laptop and getting this for christmas would be an absolute dream. Plus I'm going to be in the philippines for almost a month and I won't have anyway of posting on my blog or making youtube videos without it. x)

A LITTLE CLINIQUE

I got a damn good grade on my anatomy test today so after school I went to the mall to give myself a little treat. My first stop was Macy's where I finally got the City Stick foundation. I chatted with the MA for a bit and we figured out that the color that best suited my skin tone is VANILLA STCK. The foundation was only 21 dollars so I needed to purchase something else to make me qualify for that great GWP. After looking around for a bit I decided to get the all about eyes concealer. I already use the all about eyes rich eye creme so I thought I'd try the concealer as well. I got it in medium petal.

After Macy's I ran to Papaya and got a really cute red plaid jacket. It was the last one, and luckily it was my size. The jackeet cost 39.99. Not bad for outerwear. I'm so in love with it and I can't wait to wear it =)

SCHOOL,FAMILY AND A NEW FOUNDATION...

School has really taken over my life. This is what I have to look at every single day. It's totally depressing but I'm guessing i'm not alone in this one.I recently went to Virginia to visit my family over the week-end it was so much fun to catch up with my siblings. We had a blast playing Wii tennis and watching movies. Here is a picture of my brother and I...it was the only decent photo we took together. That's kind of sad since his eyes are closed lol anyway I was only there for 3 days and sadly I didn't even have the time to go to the CCO at the leesburg outlet. But I did go to Forever21 and got some stuff so stay tune for my next haul video.

I also recently purchased a new foundation, if you guys didn't know I have been searching for a good creme foundation because during the winter my skin gets really dry so mineral make up really won't make the cutt. I've read a lot of good reviews on makeupalley.com about this foundation, so it pretty much made up my mind and i got it. I've only used it twice and it's a pretty good foundation. The coverage is decent, i like the fact that it keeps my skin hydrated and leaves a really clean finish. I'll keep using it for a couple of weeks and maybe do a video review.

CAN CHOCOLATE CURE ACNE?

So life's pretty hectic right now and i think stress is causing me to sadly break out. I'm not quite certain if it is stress, but i haven't changed my everyday face routine and i woke up with two little new bumps on the left side of my cheek. =( Anywhoo my boyfriend recently ordered frutels, it's a chocolate treat that claims to clear up your skin. It's dark chocolate so it's a bit bitter and tangy for my taste but all in all not that bad for something that supposibly clears acne. Alright I'll keep you guys updated on whether or not this stuff really does work. Take care! =)
